Emporia State University Partial Tuition Waivers

Emporia State University is now offering partial tuition waivers to international to undergraduate students. The University has made available tuition-waivers of up to $9,000 per year to qualified students who come from underrepresented countries. The partial tuition waiver is calculated based on the out-of-state tuition. The waiver will be awarded to students who are successfully admitted to undertake undergraduate studies at Emporia State University. In addition, the student must be recommended by an EducationUSA adviser.

Below is an illustration based on current 2012-2013 tuition and fee structure.

–          Undergraduate: waiver of 60 %, calculated based on out-of-state tuition.

o   Before receiving the waiver, out-of-state tuition is $7,578 per semester + campus fees (app. $585). After receiving the waiver, the student will pay app. $3,032 + campus fees (app. $585) per semester.

–          Graduate: Waiver of 50%, calculated based on 9 credits of out-of-state tuition.

o   Before receiving the waiver, out of state graduate tuition is $5,787 + campus fees (app. $630). After receiving the wavier, the students will pay app. $2,893 + campus fee (app. $630) per semester.

The partial tuition waiver will be available throughout all application cycles in the 2012-2013 year and is good for the duration of your studies.
