The Music Area of the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts at Indiana University South Bend offers Bachelor, Graduate, and Diploma programs, as well as a minor. Students begin with a core curriculum of music theory and history, applied music, piano and general education requirements in the humanities, life sciences, mathematics, and social sciences. All students continue to study their principal instrument or voice each semester, as well as participate in university ensembles.
Indiana University South Bend will award its first round of music scholarships for undergraduate and graduate candidates who complete their live audition or send a performance CD or DVD by March 8, 2013. Later submissions will be considered if funds remain.
