The Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies now invites fellowship applications for the 2016 – 2017 academic year. Since 1979, we have remained one of the leading residential fellowship programs in the United States for research on Mexico and U.S.-Mexico relations.
Visiting fellows are expected to be Ph.D. candidates who are “all but dissertation” (ABD) and have completed a substantial portion of their dissertations. University of California graduate students are encouraged to apply as well, and priority will be given to proposals that are relevant to public policy.
Additionally, they have a limited amount of funding for faculty researchers to be in residence during their sabbatical. These candidates are encouraged to apply via the online application.
Complete details and the application process can be found on our Fellows Program webpage. The Center asks that applicants submit a one page letter of intent describing the work you plan to complete while in residence. Letters are to be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
