UC San Diego’s Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies (USMEX) at the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) hosts the largest residential fellowship program in the U.S. for research on Mexico and U.S.-Mexico relations. Each year the program brings together top scholars from the social sciences, humanities and related fields to form a multi-disciplinary cohort of researchers. Since 1979, we have remained one of the leading residential fellowship programs in the United States for research on Mexico and U.S.-Mexico relations.
The Center asks that applicants submit a one-page letter of intent describing the work you plan to complete while in residence. Letters are to be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for the letters is Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017. Applicants will be notified by Nov. 15, 2017 if they are invited to submit a full application for a fellowship during the 2018–19 academic year.
