SIT Graduate Institute has recently received approval to offer a new scholarship specifically to Mexican students interested in studying in one of SIT’s education-focused master’s degree programs (International Education or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). There are two scholarships available in the amount of $25,000 each for students with relevant professional experience that plan beginning their studies at SIT in 2016.

The Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies now invites fellowship applications for the 2016 – 2017 academic year. Since 1979, we have remained one of the leading residential fellowship programs in the United States for research on Mexico and U.S.-Mexico relations.
Visiting fellows are expected to be Ph.D. candidates who are “all but dissertation” (ABD) and have completed a substantial portion of their dissertations. University of California graduate students are encouraged to apply as well, and priority will be given to proposals that are relevant to public policy.
Additionally, they have a limited amount of funding for faculty researchers to be in residence during their sabbatical. These candidates are encouraged to apply via the online application.

The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law offers the Moritz LL.M. Scholarship to outstanding LL.M. applicants who will contribute to the intellectual diversity and strength of the LL.M. program. All applicants, regardless of citizenship, or country where their LL.B. was earned, are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship awards outstanding applicants up to $10,000.
Moritz College of Law also offers the Jones Day Scholarship for applicants from the People’s Republic of China. The scholarship offers a 50% tuition waiver and seeks to support students who show promise through a record of community service, academic or professional achievement, leadership and/or overcoming hardship.
Additionally, lawyers who have obtained their LL.B. degree in law from Central or South America will be automatically considered. The Scholarship for the Americas is merit-based and offers two (2) 40% tuition waivers per year.
Regional scholarships are also awarded to students from the Americas, Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia. Each of these regional scholarships are for $15,000. Some of the scholarships offered by partners include COLFUTURO Grants (50% tuition waivers for winners from Colombia) and Fulbright Grants (partial tuition waivers). Muskie Grants are also partial tuition waivers for students from select countries.
All applications completed and received by February 1 will receive priority consideration for scholarship awards. There is no separate scholarship essay required. All applicants will be automatically considered for all applicable scholarships. Applications received between February 1 and March 15 will be considered if funding allows.

The Organization of American States (OAS) and Colorado State University (CSU) are offering scholarships to qualified candidates of the Americas to participate in the Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise (GSSE) MBA at CSU. The scholarship will cover $50,000 of the tuition and fees. Additionally, CSU will waive the admission’s application fee and
the GRE or GMAT fee for candidates applying to the program.

All international students at Central Methodist University are qualified to receive two types of scholarships: academic and participatory. Academic scholarships are based on the cumulative grade point average, while participatory scholarships are awarded based on athletic, music, dance or performance ability.
